Metropolitan College, Sri Lanka, was incorporated in 1999, and is a reputed higher education institute; offering tertiary education in Management, Leisure, Psychology, Social Sciences, Languages and Information Technology, in partnership with Girne American University, OTHM (UK), University of Chichester, NOCN-UK & ICDL. Today Metropolitan College offers programmes from Bachelor’s Degrees to Master’s & PhD.

Keeping the well-being of the students in mind, MC provides programmes ranging from Diploma to Doctoral level that are affordable, transferable and comprehensive. Higher Diploma students may choose to transfer for degree completion to one of Girne American University’s international campuses or transfer to another university abroad, or continue with their education at Metropolitan College.

Our diplomas and higher diplomas are recognized locally by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) in Sri Lanka and internationally by the Ofqual regulated awarding body, OTHM, UK. Similarly, our degree programmes are recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in Sri Lanka.
