it Factory Audio Institute (HFAI) is the country’s premier provider of audio technology education. Through its partnership with the prestigious London Examination Board (LEB) vocational education organization in London, it is the only institute in Sri Lanka to offer world-class qualifications in Production, Sound Engineering and Acoustics.

HFAI was founded by Ranga Dasanayake, a graduate of IAR New York and local pioneer in audio engineering and studio acoustics whose body of work includes award-winning advertising campaigns, studio albums and musical scores. Ranga's vision was to create a centre of excellence where Sri Lankans could receive a first-class education in the areas of audio production and engineering.
