Entry Requirement

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Applicants who seek admission to the programme are required to have the following qualifications: (a) Bachelor Degree from a recognised University OR (b) Completion of NVQ Level 7 in the field of education, or any other qualification acceptable to the Senate of the Open University of Sri Lanka. AND (c) Teacher, Principal, or Teacher Educator in a regular/special/ international/private school.

  • Educational Guidance and Counselling for Children with Special Needs
  • Teaching Practice
  • Action Research Project
  • The assessment of a student in any course shall consist of two components, namely continuous assessment (CA) and final examination. Overall assessment mark of the student in respect of any course shall be based on both the Overall CA marks and the marks obtain at the Final Examination. Teaching Practice Teaching Practice will be conducted in two stages.
